Replacement Rack Ears for Presonus FirePod (FP10)
thingiverse
If you're still using a PreSonus FirePod (or a lot of other PreSonus rackmount gear from the same era) you may have noticed the rack ears are really brittle and kinda easy to break. I recently broke the ear off my tech director's FirePod and threw this together to replace it for him. IMPORTANT THINGS ABOUT THIS MODEL: -I rounded all the measurements so it's a bit of a tight fit and the screws may have a bit of a hard time going in, but you should be able to use the original screws with a bit of pressure. -I made the ear part, where it actually bolts into the rack, 8mm thick (about double the original thickness) to add some extra strength, so you may need long bolts to mount it in some racks. -The front panel *should* line up with other FirePods that have their original ears. (I haven't tested next to an original unit but based on measurements this should be the case unless I made a mistake somewhere.) -The same model works for both left and right sides of the unit.
