The door of my fridge was literally disintegrating before my eyes and I quickly discovered that it was due to a severely damaged plastic component.\nI could have simply ordered a replacement online, but why bother when I had a 3d printer at my disposal, ready to tackle everyday problems head-on?\nSo I set out to design the piece, printed it with precision and voila, my fridge door was fixed in no time.\nThis solution is specifically tailored for Neff fridges, but I've since learned that Siemens also uses the same design (and possibly other brands as well).\nTo ensure a seamless print job, I recommend downloading the provided Sketchup file and editing it to suit your needs.\nWhen printing, make sure to orient the layers on the side, even if it requires additional support structures - this will yield significantly stronger results.\nAdditionally, use ABS material and give the part a quick acetone bath after printing for optimal durability.\nBy applying both of these tips, you'll end up with a part that matches the original in strength and quality.
