Replacement part fits some Lifetime basketball hoops
thingiverse
The older Lifetime basketball hoop had a plastic piece that held the height-adjustment lever securely in place, but the kids managed to break it off with ease. Fortunately, this new replacement is a more reliable alternative for securing that lever. I used 2 shells and set the infill to 75% when printing it out, making sure to add both a raft and supports along the way. When putting the new part into place, the metal sleeve fit snugly around the original component, which I think will actually extend its lifespan. You may need to tidy up where the supports were in order for the two parts to go together properly - it helps if you start by inserting one end first and then complete the assembly from both sides.
