A neighbor's fishing boat lost a part from its outboard motor, specifically the deadman's switch assembly, also known as the lanyard clip. He was unable to find a replacement. Using a 3D printer, I measured the necessary parts with calipers, designed it in CAD, and made minor adjustments for support-less printing. The boat was operational within just 15 minutes! Materials used included a single shell with 100% infill, and the final product was vapor polished ABS.
