Replacement Outboard Motor Lanyard Clip

Replacement Outboard Motor Lanyard Clip

cults3d

A neighbor down the block snapped a piece off of his outboard motor's control system. He referred to it as the lanyard clip, but I call it the deadman's switch assembly. Whatever its actual name may be, he couldn't locate a replacement part. A 3D printer proved to be just what was needed! Taking only a few minutes with calipers and some CAD work, followed by slight adjustments for supportless printing and 15 minutes on the 3D printer, the motor's control system is now fixed and the boat is back in operation!
