Replacement ON/OFF switch for BRIO Train 33221 w/ IR-control
thingiverse
This is a replacement ON/OFF switch for the discontinued BRIO Train 33221 with IR-control. My switch broke down due to the plastic aging out and becoming brittle. I printed the replacement in ABS with 100% infill because of its small size. Please check the image above showing the STL-file: You can see two spacer blocks that I added to the left and right sides of the gap in the middle of the switch. Remove these spacers after printing and discard them - they are only needed to print the part flat on the print bed. After opening the wagon with the switch by loosening the four screws at the bottom, unscrew the PCB inside (again four screws) and slide the printed part over the small ON/OFF switch on the PCB. Before fixing everything again, be sure to reinstall the clutch magnet.
