A Direct Replacement for Faulty Wii Balance Board Feet When Nintendo Wii balance board feet become brittle and break after years of use, a direct replacement is necessary. This project involves printing a new foot and moving its parts from the faulty one to create a complete replacement. First, locate the rubber anti-slip disc on the bottom of the foot. Secure it in place with a small amount of superglue. Next, move to the inside of the foot where you'll find a 15mm metal load spreading disc and a foam anti-rattle pad. The pad should still have some tackiness to it, but if not, apply a very small amount of adhesive to secure it in place. To remove the old foot from the board, start by unscrewing the three cross-head screws that hold the surround in place. Be careful not to damage the wiring connected to the strain gauge in each foot. When printing this design, consider flipping it over in your print software so that the broad bottom of the foot is adjacent to the plate. This produces a higher-quality print.
