Replacement Mini Hockey Pucks

Replacement Mini Hockey Pucks

thingiverse

I only had one puck left for my 1997 Real Action Pocket Rod Hockey Mini game, and my kids were constantly begging to play it. Now that I can create spares, they can play as much as they want. The design is extremely simple (made in TinkerCad), but I thought I'd share in case anyone else has this game and doesn't have any original pucks to measure. The original pucks were 2.79mm high and 4.75mm in diameter with a considerable bevel on the edges. I designed to those specs, but mine printed slightly taller at 3.1mm. They still get the job done. The raft was helpful for my printer, but it's likely optional depending on how well calibrated your printer is. I recommend a solid fill to give the little pucks as much weight as possible. Even with the raft, solid fill, and best print settings, the print time was only 8 minutes.
