Replacement Lid Handle for Ball Jam Maker

Replacement Lid Handle for Ball Jam Maker

thingiverse

I made a replacement handle for my Ball Jam/Jelly maker after breaking the original Bakelite plastic one. The new handle can fit any pot lid as long as I get a knurled insert, which can be easily extracted from an old lid handle using pliers by breaking the Bakelite around it or purchased at a hardware store. To secure the insert, I tap it in with a hammer and recommend applying glue for extra hold. When printing the new handle, I suggest avoiding PLA as it may not withstand heat exposure, but ABS or PETG can be good alternatives if you don't plan to print in ABS.
