Replacement latch for an old vacuum
thingiverse
This attachment was designed for an old Eureka canister vacuum model 3334. I used pop-rivets for attaching it; however, the pressure broke the plastic, so using machine screws and nuts may be more effective. The fit could be improved with a half mm smaller gap and additional reach of one mm in the business end. If reprinting, I'll make these adjustments. This should help you. No support was needed during printing, and a 2mm skirt helped the attachment adhere to the build platform. The code provided is a quick fix but not parametric, making changes difficult. However, it is well-commented for easy understanding.
