A gas range featuring attractive knobs can disappoint, as these may break within a year. Standard replacement knobs usually don't fit, leading to expensive alternatives at over $100 each. This is odd for a range priced around $600 new. Ideal knobs should snugly fit on the stems and be easy to clean. For printing, ABS plastic works best but may cause slight warping at the back, which won't affect appearance or function.
