The lid on my blender got busted so I made a new one from scratch using a digital design tool, then printed it with a 3D printer. After testing its fit in various parts, I decided to soften the plastic by briefly submerging it in a cup of boiling water before finally attaching it. Surprisingly, it fitted perfectly and works wonderfully well. Instructions The print settings were as follows: layer height of 0.2 mm with three external shells, each with an infill percentage of 30%. I opted against using any supports during the printing process to ensure a smooth finish. To make the new lid fit snugly on my blender, I simply dropped it into a cup of scalding water for a few seconds before attaching it in place. To my relief, it fitted smoothly and operates flawlessly with a beautiful appearance to boot.
