Replacement Impeller for a VORTEK FAN
thingiverse
This project involved replacing a broken impeller for a blower fan with a new, 3D-printed version. The model number of the fan housing is CCL-AD-09-003, and it utilizes a 120V, 60Hz, 1.5A max motor (Model: SCH1084S3A). To install the new impeller, one may need to slightly enlarge the center hole with a Dremel for a snug fit on the motor shaft. The clip pin should be reattached afterwards. Safety glasses are recommended during testing. Notably, this design was created from scratch and features a smaller impeller to prevent contact with the housing wall. The resulting airflow is impressive. The impeller was printed using silver PLA filament from JustPLA at 190°C temperature, 0.2mm layer height, 0.55mm nozzle diameter, and a 70°C bed temperature.
