When both my Accord's key housing units broke down, I quickly turned to Thingiverse in search of a replacement design. However, the designs I tried proved to be flawed, suffering from the same issue that led to the failure of my OEM key housing. Frustrated by this, I decided to create my own key housing and after several iterations, I came up with a solution that worked well for me. My car is now in the hands of another owner. As someone who generally prefers Thingiverse designs that don't require additional hardware purchases, I initially tried out all 100% 3D printed options before settling on a design that met my needs.
