Replacement Hinges and Pins for Three-Door Cabinet: A DIY Solution. We recently encountered an issue with a friend's cabinet when moving it - two of the hinges had snapped off, and we were unable to identify the manufacturer. To resolve this problem, we decided to print our own replacement parts using 3D printing technology. For the hinges, we printed them in the specified orientation, which allowed us to take advantage of the layer strength that 3D printing provides. We created two regular hinges and one mirrored version to accommodate different user needs. When printing the hinges, it's essential to use supports to ensure they are stable and secure. This will prevent any potential issues during assembly or use. The pins required a high fill rate for maximum strength, so we used 100% fill when printing them. Although our test was limited to a single household with no children using the cabinet, the results were satisfactory. For optimal results, it's recommended to use PLA as the printing material, which worked well in this scenario.
