***UPDATE: I tweaked version two with thicker walls, which greatly reduced instances of the sides breaking off during install. My friend's waffle iron hinge pegs had disintegrated over time, rendering it unusable. She asked me to print a replacement using what was left of one hinge. The geometry appeared simple, so I created a crude SCAD file in about 30 minutes. However, the printed piece looked better than expected and fitted perfectly. The vapor polished pieces were truly beautiful, although I forgot to capture them before installation. Instructions Created an attached SCAD design Rendered it as an STL model Printed the STL with 100% infill using black ABS at 0.3mm layer height Vapor polished the two new hinge pieces Installed them into the hinge holes on my friend's waffle iron
