Replacement Handle for a Rowing Machine - Skiff Plus (Vogatore) by Carnielli

I bought a used rowing machine over 15 years ago that only had one handle. Using it turned out to be quite frustrating. Before 3D printing was available, I managed to put together some PVC and solid plastic pieces that made using the rowing machine much easier. Years went by, and 3D printing finally became a reality, so I thought I could create a decent handle for my rowing machine at last. It took me a while to develop a design that was satisfactory. I had trouble converting a sphere into a printable file, but then I stumbled upon Chris Odom's YouTube channel, which provided an excellent and easy-to-understand tutorial on producing a sphere. Following his instructions, I created several test files before I felt confident enough to print the final version at my local library makerspace. The printed handle is slightly shorter than the original design. To improve its stability, I made the walls thicker. It should attach securely to the rowing arm without any adjustments. I replaced a bushing with some scrap brass tubing I had on hand. I created this part because no suitable replacement was available. The drawing depicts my initial idea, while the final version has undergone some changes. After printing the handle, I realized it could also be used for jump rope handles.
