Replacement handle and cap for Craftsman screwdriver
prusaprinters
The old handles get brittle and break when dropped on pavement. I tried repairing mine with epoxy and it didn't go well, so I made this. The shaft insert is very tight so it won't come back off. I printed in PETG and hammered it in with two blocks of wood to avoid damaging the ratchet mechanism. The cap is sized for exactly cutting the handle threads to match the existing cap. If printing the cap, scale to 95%. I haven't yet learned how to reduce the inner threads correctly in the model. The font I used on the side writing is Kroftsmann. You need to install that in order to edit the f3d model. The default wording I used is in honor of TheCrafsman SteadyCraftin, a great YouTube channel.
