Replacement Guide Tube for Bionicon C.Guide V.02

<p>This is a replacement guide tube for the Bionicon C.Guide V.02 (Bicycle chain guide). I made it for a family member that wore his out, and then found that the only replacement part comes from the UK. With the price of international shipping, it just didn't seem worth it, so I designed this replacement part. You will need to print two of them, and they should snap together (Make sure the two halves are lined up perfectly).</p><p>I printed it in the orientation shown in the STL at a layer height of 0.2 with no supports.</p><p>I printed it in Creality Black PLA, and I sprayed a bit of PTFE lube in it for good measure. It was only tested for about 5 minutes, so I don't really have any information on long term durability, but if it doesn't last, I expect it will be more about selecting a more durable material than any kind of design flaw.</p><figure class="media"><oembed url="https://youtu.be/eercC1dG4r0"></oembed></figure><h3>Print instructions</h3><p><strong>Supports:</strong> No<br/><strong>Resolution:</strong> 0.2<br/><strong>Infill:</strong> 60% Gyroid Infill</p><p><strong>Filament:</strong> Creality PLA Black</p><p><strong>Notes:</strong></p><p>The settings above are what I used, but they definitely aren't a rule. In fact, even higher infill probably wouldn't hurt, and I only used PLA because I don't have much else. I was thinking it might be the sort of thing nylon would work well for, but I've never printed nylon.</p>
