Replacement grip for Longshot Front Gun

Replacement grip for Longshot Front Gun

thingiverse

The Longshot Front Gun is a toy that often comes missing crucial parts, including the grip and trigger, rendering it useless for shooting. A replacement part designed to fix this issue has been created, allowing your LSFG to become functional again. To install the new part, you must disassemble the LSFG. This also prevents the part from falling off and getting lost like the original one did. The trigger needs to be sanded smooth so that it moves smoothly along its track without catching. The top tab of the trigger fits into the trigger linkage in the LSFG just like the original trigger does. These parts are designed to be printed in their current orientations, with the trigger requiring a raft for proper printing and supports recommended for the grip piece. An updated version of the print has been created, resulting in a smaller and lower-profile grip that prints faster. This new design has not yet been tested but retains the same attachment point as the original, ensuring it still functions properly. This replacement part was designed with Design Spark Mechanical and is available in both .RSDOC and .STL formats to facilitate edits if you use the same software. Edits are welcome to improve this design.
