Replacement Golchi Cap
prusaprinters

The Golchi modular water bottle (https://mygolchi.com/) comes with an additional cap when using the setup in the Mini and Traditional configuration. This provides a nice trim/finish in these configuration. This thing is a 3D printable version of that cap allowing you to replace that piece if missing or if you want to change up your design.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

i3 MK3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.15mm

Infill:

10-20%

Notes:

Since this design calls for printing out screw threads, a lower layer height may produce better threading.

Post-Printing

The top of the cap features a chamfer to help ease the treading on of the cap. In test prints, I found some stringing at this height may exist from the lack of supports. Cutting these off with an angle cutter or scissors will work fine. A quick deburring with a deburring tool (such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N9SM9GD) will help the cap screw on and off much easier.

Category: Kitchen & Dining
