Replacement foot mount for FastCap 3rd Hand
thingiverse
I have a FastCap 3rd Hand (a pole that extends and can hold things up, etc) and the foot portion of it broke, so instead of jumping through all the customer service hurdles, I decided to just print a replacement. It actually works even better than the original, as the threaded portion grips the screw better than the previous one did (it was a bit loose), so I might even just pull out the good one out of my other one and replace with one of these.Since the thread is printed, and different printers have different tolerances, you may need to scale the model up in X/Y (but not Z, as that will cause issues with the threads). My initial test fit was a bit loose in the pole and a bit tight on the screw, so I increased them equally 104%, and it fit like a charm.
