Replacement fan Elegoo Mars Exasperated by the noise of the original fan, I decided to replace it with a Noctua Redux 12V 80x25, much quieter! This fan turns slower than the original one but compensates by a good flow due to these bigger blades and a more important inclination. This Noctua has 4 wires, you will have to keep only the yellow (+) and the black (-). Other solutions exist to install a 80x25 fan but these require the use of M3x60 screws which are not common. My solution allows you to use the original screws. This system includes a "rack" fixed under the machine and in which we slide the fan. Small bosses block the Noctua in position. Under my Mars, I found an unused hole through which I passed the power wires. By adding a small connector nearby, it is easy to remove the fan without opening the machine. I also designed a wedge that replaces the original fan. As for the others, this modification requires to raise the machine. I have drawn feet of 50mm in which we insert the original feet to screw them under the printer (the screws of the feet of the Elegoo are not at the metric pitch!). The printer now works in a very appreciable silence !!!
