The end caps for the Stanley aluminum I-beam level (such as [this 24" one](https://www.stanleytools.com/products/hand-tools/levels/i-beam/24-in-top-read-aluminum-ibeam-level/42-074) and [this 48" one](https://www.stanleytools.com/products/hand-tools/levels/i-beam/48-in-top-read-aluminum-ibeam-level/42-076)) are removable, which can be handy. But it gave me the opportunity to lose one, which I took. So I made a replacement part. If you are in the same situation, enjoy.
