My kid smashed his favorite chair, so I scavenged what I could find to fix it myself - an 8.2mm by 20mm dowel replacement, to be exact. To get the best possible outcome, I printed this part lying down on its side, ensuring maximum strength and stability. With a solid plan in place, I set out to create two complete shells, three top layers, and three bottom layers, all with a generous 70% infill to give it some real substance.
