THE PROBLEM::::::

I have an Electric Scooter/Moped imported from China and recently (I have had her now for 3 and half years) started to cut out whilst riding.

So I Stripper the whole thing to look for a problem and came to this little box that looked burned, when I opened it up I could clearly see that something (I suspect it got wet as we have had some pretty wet weather) had shorted out as the wires where burned pitch black and some were even hardened and cracked further down the line. and are exposed to the frame and shorts the motor out when they hit against the frame due to movement and vibrations and bumps in road surface.

THE SOLUTION::::::::
I designed a copy of the original box cover with 123D Design.
I also taped up all the wires

Print Settings

Printer:

Anet A6

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

Doesn't Matter

Resolution:

Ultra (Craftware)

Infill:

100%

Notes:

I just used the best printing settings as i did no want something weak.
I use Craftbot as slicer so my settings would probably not be the same as people using Cura.

Category: Automotive
