Replacement Coupler for Playmobil Trains

This replacement coupling hook&spring is specifically designed for use with Playmobil wagons. The ABS material used in its construction gives it a stiffer spring than the original Playmobil piece, resulting in fewer accidental uncouplings of the wagon. However, this added stability also means that the wagons are less likely to become detached unexpectedly. To make printing easier, the uncouple-lever was left out and the overhang angles were kept relatively small, eliminating the need for support structures during the printing process. A comparison photo is provided below, showing the printed part alongside the original Playmobil coupler, which has a worn-out spring.
