Replacement Chinese Checkers Piece

This is a replacement Chinese Checkers Peg I did for a family game. A version of this game that has been in the family for many years had lost several pieces. Having got tired of using other odds and ends to replace the missing pieces I created this part to match the original pegs. The part is quite small so the surface can come out rough depending on the filament used. Light sanding with fine emery cloth or a file smooths out the surface enough to be painted and look very much like the original pegs. The bottom end fits in a drill chuck to make the operation easier if needed. The part is Cura scaled and oriented for printing. Print Settings Printer: ReliaBuild 3D Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 mm Infill: 20% Notes: A 10 line brim can be useful to keep the parts stuck to the bed while printing. Post-Printing Surface prep If the surface is not as smooth as you would like you can chuck the piece up in a drill and using fine emery cloth or a fine half round file lightly sand the surface to the desired smoothness. Do not spin the part very fast and do not apply a lot of pressure to avoid melting the plastic.
