Replacement Chinese Checkers Piece
thingiverse
This is a replacement Chinese Checkers Peg I created for a family game. A version of this game that has been in the family for many years had lost several pieces, so I decided it was time to create replacements to match the original pegs. The part is quite small, which means the surface can be rough depending on the filament used. However, light sanding with fine emery cloth or a file smooths out the surface enough to be painted and looks very much like the original pegs. The bottom end fits in a drill chuck to make the operation easier if needed. Post-Printing Surface prep If the surface is not as smooth as you would like, you can chuck the piece up in a drill and use fine emery cloth or a fine half-round file to lightly sand the surface to the desired smoothness. Do not spin the part too fast and do not apply a lot of pressure to avoid melting the plastic.
