Replacement central hub for 50 meter measuring tape
thingiverse
This is a high-tech central hub designed for a 50 meter measuring tape, built to last and featuring no fragile parts. Insert the tape into place, then secure it with a tiny pin - you can repurpose an old pen casing or a short piece of plastic filament. There are three backup slots in case one of these parts fails, giving you extra peace of mind. Simply glue the broken part back together and continue printing using one of the alternatives. The inspiration behind this design was a local high school where students had inadvertently destroyed a whole batch of tape measures, leading to the need for an affordable solution. Print Settings Rafts Unnecessary Always Supports: Completely Irrelevant Notes: Made in sturdy PLA. How I Designed This Measurements were taken from the original part and then I redrew everything in Fusion 360.
