Replacement cap for JosephJoseph Y-Grinder
thingiverse
The JosephJoseph Y-Grinder is a double-chamber salt and pepper mill: http://www.josephjoseph.com/en-gb/product/y-grinder/. I have had one for many years, but due to extensive use, I managed to crack one of the covers, which means it no longer securely locks onto the splines on the grinder shaft. The splined shaft is a bit tricky to model, but a central cylinder with three smaller rotating ones seems to work just fine. The cap may be too tight or too loose depending on how accurate your 3D printer is with small internal diameters. I printed this on my Mendel90 at a 0.2mm layer height and a 0.48mm extrusion width using the stock 0.4mm nozzle, and it fits snugly - even tighter than the original part. A quick pass with a Dremel will loosen it if that bothers you.
