Replace broken power adapter cable with ease when it splits and frays near the connector, a common occurrence. Printable replacement part. Carefully pry open the power brick by inserting needle-nose pliers into the cutouts under the cable storage clips and applying gentle pressure to separate the two case halves. Cut out the damaged wire section, including the old plug. Thread the new wire through the new plug. Resolder the cable back together, then insulate it for added durability. Reassemble the power brick by gluing the two case halves back together securely. The integrated cable saver is designed to prevent future damage.
