replacement buckle for cressi fins
thingiverse
I was informed by several dive instructors that these detachable buckles of my cressi fins are one of the parts commonly lost by most divers. That's why I designed a 3D-printable replacement buckle so you can always have one on hand as a spare. My design looks significantly more bulky than the original, but that is simply for added sturdiness since 3D printed parts tend to perform poorly in this regard. Additionally, the angle of the "front slope" is much steeper to make it printable from different orientations. Functionality remains unchanged. edit: I've added another version (10) which appears less blocky. I haven't tested that one yet, but it should function similarly to the first one. edit: The latest version (13) is easier to attach and features more chamfers on the bottom part. edit: A minor update (#15) with slightly increased clearance has been made. I've tested this one with 3 different materials over a weekend on a lake, and it surprisingly survived all of them. Materials tested included Extrudr Greentec, Extrudr Greentec-Pro, and DasFilament PETG.
