Introducing a practical solution for your Roborock S7 MaxV vacuum cleaner: the 3D-printed replacement brush. Engineered with careful consideration, this brush offers a reliable alternative to knockoff replacements and even the original. What you need:1x M3x10 screw or a similar sized metal pin2x grey ring from old brush (see instructions)1x black plastic/metal part from old brush (see instructions)TPU and PLA filament Note: You only need to print and assemble the inner part once, after that you are able to reuse it and just print a new outer part in TPU. Initial Situation:After trying to find some affordable replacement brushes for my Roborock S7 MaxV and getting disappointed several times, I decided it is time to design my own replacement parts. The after-market brushes, and even the ones claiming to be “original” kept getting cuts from tangled hair after just a few cleaning cycles. If this looks familiar, then feel free to try my 3D-printed brush!Based on my experience, I haven't observed any shortcomings in cleaning performance. Quite the opposite, there's a reduction in hair buildup along the brush's sides, necessitating less frequent cleaning. The brush demonstrates remarkable durability and resilience. The brush depicted in the images has already undergone more than 180 hours of cleaning in our household and shows just small signs of wear. Printing:The brush is printed in two parts:The outer part is printed in TPU in my case i used Overture TPU from Amazon. The brush is designed to be printed on its side. To achieve an optimal cleaning experience, use these settings: Perimeter: 2Infill: 10%Infill pattern: gyroidSupports: NoBased on the TPU you use, you may have to change the infill density to achieve a similar flexibility of the print. For the inner part I used PLA, but it may be also a good alternative to use PETG.  I printed it laying flat to ensure good layer orientation and used support for the holes on the side.Perimeter: 2Infill: 20%Infill pattern: gyroidSupport: Yes Assembly:To be able to use this design, you need to glue a small M3x10 screw on the end of the inner tube.Make sure that the screw is properly aligned. Now simply push the two printed parts together, and you are ready to use your newly printed replacement brush. To install it into your Roborock reuse the two gray Plastic rings and the black metallic part from your old brush. Note that it may be a tight fit.Now just put the brush in your Roborock and happy cleaning!  :-)
