Replacement brake for kid's Micro 3-wheeled scooter
thingiverse
My kid's brake dropped off and I saw an opportunity to repair it together. I created the replacement part from scratch using openscad software and 3D printed it on my Makerbot machine. Since printing horizontally would yield better results with vertically stacked layers, that's how I should have done it - but I didn't. To replace it effectively: unscrew the top component to access it enlarge the brake opening in the cover by cutting it wider, as the new print is slightly larger than the original part; use pliers if necessary to make room attach the replacement part with the same screws I hope it will hold up.
