Replacement "bolt" for Whirlpool & Kitchenaid dishwashers
thingiverse
Here is my attempt at spinning your text while following all the given rules: There's a critical design issue in certain Whirlpool / Kitchenaid dishwashers, specifically with the wheels on the bottom rack. These are held together by a plastic bolt that deteriorates over time, eventually causing the wheel to fall off when you least expect it. I had already purchased replacement wheel assemblies on Amazon, but they didn't fare much better, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and improve the design myself. After all, who needs a subpar product? I designed these new wheels with strength in mind and printed them in PETG at 100% infill for maximum durability. I'm confident that these upgraded wheels will outlast their original counterparts by far. There are three files available, two of which have the bolts printed sideways for added strength. While this approach requires more supports and results in a slightly less aesthetically pleasing design, it's a small price to pay for a product that can withstand the test of time. I hope this version meets all your requirements!
