<p>The kids somehow lost the cover to our HP Media Center Remote<br/> aka HP Windows Media Center Remote Control<br/> aka HP OEM P/N 5070-2583 MediaSmart TV Remote Control</p> <p>This gadget works with an IR USB dongle to give keyboard inputs to a Windows device. The remote still works with Windows 10, so its worth fixing. Designed the replacement part in Fusion 360. It took nineteen iterations to get a satisfying snap-fit that perfectly matches the chamfer rounds of the cover plate.</p> <p>Two years later, still the replacement cover is still attached to the remote!</p> <p>Fusion *.f3d file attached so you can marvel at the wonky timeline.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Printed on the Prusa i3 MK2/S in orange Prusament PLA.</p>
