Replacement arrows for Brave bow and arrow set

We're crafting custom replacement arrows using 1/4-inch dowel rods, adapting suction cup ends from those delicate bow and arrow sets from the Brave movie kit. So far, they seem to perform fairly well, but we do notice that the fletchings can be prone to breaking off with relatively little force. It's no surprise our kids might break all the original arrows before getting the hang of it. Here are the instructions: When preparing your new replacement arrows, use scissors or a craft knife to carefully trim off the flat sections at the tips of the 'feathers'. This printed detail serves only as a decorative element and doesn't affect functionality.
