Replacement Arms for Sunglasses

I use Aviators, but they never fit perfectly behind my ears. So, I created a solution for a more comfortable fit. You can easily make your own to fit any wireframe glasses or sunnies. Best results are achieved with wire arms that have a diameter of 1.5mm. However, you can scale the print or simply drill out the holes to fit your frames. To do this, cut off the old arms, leaving about 15mm of length to slot into the new 3D printed arms. I used Araldite to glue them in place. Make sure to try them on before gluing, so you can get a good angle on the arms and they wrap comfortably around your head behind your ear.
