RepBox PC4-M10 adapter

RepBox PC4-M10 adapter

This design will accommodate any version of the RepBox. I grew tired of the PTFE tubes constantly shifting in and out of the weatherproof connectors supplied with the RepBox. The stock fittings aren't designed for PTFE, so I created these alternatives. I tried three types of PC4 push connectors, and the M10's made the most sense. I like how the PTFE tube extends through them, allowing a mostly PTFE filament path with reduced friction. The PTFE tube fits snugly into the adapter without deforming, and there's a chamfered opening inside for the filament to slide through. Print these adapters in the orientation shown, with supports enabled from the build plate only. I set extra offset distance in XY and Z to make support removal cleaner. Notice that the threads appear a bit rough and curled in my pictures, but they provide a very snug and strong connection when installed. They even hold better than the supplied connectors. I printed these adapters in PLA, but I'm sure PET or other filaments would work just as well. According to my Amazon order history, I used PC4-M10 connectors from this product: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IB81IHG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Any PC4-M10 connector should work, as long as the PTFE tube can pass through. If there's enough interest, I'll upload PC4-M5 and M6 versions as well, but I think they won't be as effective.
