Replace your helicopter's broken control stick with this STL file, ensuring compatibility by viewing the model in Meshlab and comparing it to your old part. Photograph the replacement part from multiple angles before installation for ease of reassembly. Print at 10% size with a 10mm brim, slowing down printing speed if necessary to prevent melting. Trim excess material and open holes as needed. The attached .scad file allows for editing in OpenSCAD. For the USB charger enclosure, print at 10% size and include a hole for an LED if desired. Economical 3.7V lithium chargers can be found for $0.50 each or on auction sites, with standard 2mm Nokia-type tips requiring polarity verification via multimeter when plugged into the toy. Verify proper cable strain relief placement and secure with hot glue after cooling. The lid snaps in place, also secured with hot glue for added stability. This modification will prevent rapid battery drain using the built-in controller charger.
