Repair - couch spring mounting

We purchased a couch from Leiner furniture store several years ago, but soon encountered problems with the spring fasteners, which had been torn away. We decided to examine it more closely and discovered that designing an improved replacement part would be relatively simple. After trying various sizes and thicknesses, we finally found one that worked perfectly, securing the springs in place as they should. The new parts are secured with five screws, ensuring a much longer lifespan compared to the original holders, which were prone to tattering.
