I've recently stumbled upon a Kickstarter campaign that's bringing my dream of a commercial open source machine to life. The ultimate goal is to create a 500mm x 500mm x 500mm all-in-one 3D/CNC printer, building on the foundation laid by my earlier "proto" machine.
