Micro Star Hexacopter - A Powerhouse in Miniature 115mm Motor to Motor - Unleash the Beast! Power Machine! Quadcopters are renowned for their simplicity and affordability, but Hexas stand out as a unique gem. The additional two motors deliver extra power and a distinct sound, making them well worth the extra investment. Although the control board, FPV camera, and battery weigh the same, the extra motors result in minimal frame weight penalties, making Hexacopters an ideal platform for lightweight micros. This innovative design features 8.5mm brushed motors, an F3 board capable of running six brushed motors, and a satellite receiver (in this case, Spektrum). Battery placement is flexible; it can be mounted on top or underneath the top frame. I prefer attaching it to the bottom as there are many props and wires that could obstruct propellers. An FPV camera was attached to the front flange using hot glue. Despite the added weight, the hexacopter boasts impressive power! Main Frame: 9g Top Cover: 3g (Optional but adds a touch of elegance) Total weight with six motors, FC, Top Cover (excluding battery): 54g. Flight Controller: F3 Brushed Motors: 8.5mm 15000rpm Flight Software: Betaflight Rear LED Light Controlled by Betaflight Props: 55mm with 1mm holes Battery: Turnigy Nano Tech 35-70C 1S 750mah Flight Time: 5-6 minutes
