ReP_AL Core XY 3D Printer Axis Upgrade
thingiverse
The Upgrade to the Y and X Axis Modification Integrates the Y Axis Bearing Rod into the Stepper Motor Bracket, Providing an Extra 25mm of Space for Y Axis Travel. This modification also spaces out the X axis by a further 20mm. Additional spaces can be printed and used to extend the Y axis further backwards, which is useful if you have a large Hot End head assembly. Two new Y axis carriages are included, allowing the GT2 belt to pass through on its way to the GT2 pulley gears on the steppers. This keeps the belt nicely aligned and in straight lines. The new bearing stack blocks are screwed in front of and behind the bearing carriage, giving a better clamping action. In the previous design, a heavy belt tension could result in a gap between the bearing block and the aluminum frame (twisting action). All other parts from the original design can be used with this modification, which fits both the small and standard-sized ReP_AL COREXY printer.
