Rep 2x Extruder Arm Upgrade
thingiverse
This upgrade lets you use m4 shoulder screws for the bearing instead of flat head or printed peg versions, allowing for better usage of given parts. It requires two m4 shoulder screws as opposed to only one originally. You can keep using the original cover piece provided by the thing mentioned above. To do so, though, you may need to enlarge the through hole in the cover for the bearing screw to fit through it. Instructions for assembly are basically following the same direction of the original part, but keep in mind that each 3D printer can be a bit different due to varied hardware or settings. Based on experience and results achieved by users like you, we suggest using 3-4 outer shells. A fill percentage between 30-40 is considered good, as well as an ideal layer height of about 0.10mm for the smoothness and sturdiness desired in finished prints.
