Reolink Doorbell WeatherCover when using angle mount
thingiverse
This Make is for Reolink Doorbell (PoE or WiFi) when mounted outside and not under cover of a porch. When only using the supplied angle bracket, it can allow water egress between the doorbell and the bracket, My cover requires double sided tape on both sides to fix it to the Doorbell.Note, there is a built in 5mm bumper between the underside of the cover and the top of the doorbell angle bracket to allow removal of the doorbell with the key. This way if you ever need to change the sd card you won't need to remove the cover.Note: There is some loss of the field of view on the sides because of the very wide field of view of the camera, but any less allows rain in from the sides to cover the lens with water.Feel free to modify this cover if the loss of view is not welcomed. There is a Left and a Right make depending on which way you mount the supplied angle bracket. The make prints cleanly but it could be better in its smoothing by those with more experience than me in Blender. :)Designed and printed for a SLA water washable resin printer as PLA may not be suitable in direct sunlight and could become brittle over time.Edit: 02022023 - The black/charcoal colour of the doorbell when exposed to direct sun makes the doorbell very hot. -I think hot enough to cook the electronics.I painted the doorbell and the cover silver to reflect the sunlight and added a laser cut Bell sign.- see pic.Now the Doorbell is much cooler and is weather proof.
