Reolink B800 Camera mounting plate
thingiverse
This part is engineered to slide through a 32mm diameter hole in a sheet of aluminum vented soffit with ease. This mount is specifically designed for the Reolink B800 bullet camera, but its concept can be adapted to any camera that requires a sturdy mounting system on thin or soft sheet metal. The mount features three pillars to accommodate the (Reolink) supplied self-tapping screws, which tend to lose their grip in the thin soffit material. This 3D print twists through a hole in the soffit and has a designated spot to secure a small wire or cord, preventing it from getting lost in the enclosed space. The cord can be tucked into the soffit or cut off once at least one screw is engaged in the plastic. Printed in PLA, the screw holes benefit greatly from being drilled out with a 3.5mm (1/8") drill to achieve optimal thread engagement in the plastic. Following this operation, it becomes effortless to turn the screws without damaging the philips head and still allowing them to gain a secure grip. This innovative solution is designed to simplify your installation process.
