I noticed that the available fan-attachments for the RF100 take up too much space around the printhead, and sometimes don't produce enough airflow. This cooling solution utilizes a radial fan design and can be attached to the printhead using existing screws on the sides of the head. It adds just about 15mm of depth and about 8mm of width to the printhead, so you can still extend the RF100's 10x10x10cm print area a bit if desired. Warning: The current design might move too much air towards the hot end, especially during the first 5mm, so be sure to start the fan after the first 5mm z are printed. A better version is in development, but no estimated completion date has been set yet.
