The cable that feeds the 3D printer's extruder has a habit of snapping near its connector, right at the extruder itself. A simple adapter can be clipped onto the black housing surrounding the extruder, freeing the cable from stress in that area and reducing the risk of breakage. This solution should keep the cable intact. You won't need to take off the black extruder cover or use any screws. Just clip it on.
