Initially, I'm grateful to Dape for the meticulously crafted 3D mosquito model, which was an instrumental part of my project. To add a personal touch, I incorporated an amber rock within a wooden base. This creative endeavor serves as a tribute to Dape's exceptional work. My aim with this design was to illustrate the concept of a fossilized mosquito trapped in an amber rock, reminiscent of a scene from Jurassic Park. For modeling the crystal and assembling it with Dape's mosquito model, I utilized SolidWorks. Subsequently, I rendered the design using KeyShot, experimenting with various materials and textures to achieve the desired visual effect. I hope you appreciate my effort. It took me a mere 15 minutes to complete this project.
